Instant lawn, done right: we prepare the soil, lay fresh sod in tight rows and roll it so it roots fast and looks finished the same day.
A sod lawn is the fastest way to turn bare dirt into a green, usable yard. Instead of waiting weeks for seed to sprout, you get a finished surface in a day, with a dense root mat already holding the soil against Nashville rain. But sod is only as good as what is under it. Laid on hard, lumpy or poorly graded clay, even the best sod struggles, and gaps and dry edges turn into brown lines within weeks.
Our work starts below the surface. We check the grade so water runs away from the house, loosen compacted soil, add what the ground is missing and rake it smooth. Then we lay the sod the same day it is cut, stagger the seams like brickwork, trim tight against beds and walks and roll it for full soil contact. You finish the day with a lawn that looks done and clear instructions for the first two weeks, which matter more than anything else.
Grade, loosen and smooth the soil so roots can go down and water can run off. This step decides how well the lawn lasts.
Sod is laid soon after it is cut, with staggered seams pulled tight and no gaps or stretched pieces.
A roller presses the roots against the soil, removes air pockets and gives a smooth surface that mows evenly.
We tell you exactly how much and how often to water, because the first fourteen days make or break a new lawn.

You tell us about your yard and what you want, a new lawn, a fix for a worn one or a turf area, and we set a visit that fits your day.
We walk the property, measure each area, check sun, shade, soil and drainage and take photos of anything of note.
We explain your options for sod, turf or both, and give you a written scope with quantities, timing and clear pricing.
We mark utilities, remove old turf, set the grade, loosen and improve the soil and build the base before anything new goes down.
We lay sod in tight, staggered rows or install turf over a compacted stone base, with clean edges and tight seams.
We clean up, roll or brush the surface, walk you through the watering and care plan and set a reminder for your next check.
Most sod begins to anchor in about two weeks, and roots keep deepening over the next several weeks with regular watering.
It can be laid on most soil that is prepared well. Hard clay, rubble and low spots need work first so the lawn lasts.
Light foot traffic is fine after a few days, and normal use is best after the first mowing and a couple of weeks of rooting.
Yes. Fresh sod heats up on the pallet, so we plan the delivery and the crew so it goes down quickly.
Small gaps usually come from missed watering or hard soil underneath. We can patch them and show what to adjust.
