Help with neighborhood rules, architectural review forms and samples, so your lawn or turf project is approved before work begins.
Many Middle Tennessee neighborhoods have homeowner association rules about lawns, landscaping and anything that changes the look of the front of a house. Artificial turf in particular is treated differently from one association to the next, from fully allowed to prohibited in front yards. Starting a project without approval can mean fines or being forced to undo the work.
We help you check the rules first. We read your covenants with you, explain what they say about grass types, turf, borders, beds and drainage and prepare the submission: a simple sketch, product samples, photos of similar work and a description of the plan. We can communicate with your board or management company and answer questions about materials and installation. When rules are strict, we suggest alternatives that stay within them, so you still get a better yard.
We go through your covenants with you and note what applies to lawns, turf, edging and beds.
A sketch, samples and clear photos make it easy for a review committee to say yes.
We can answer technical questions from your association or management company.
If turf is not allowed in front, we suggest sod, shade grasses or turf in the back that fits within the rules.

You tell us about your yard and what you want, a new lawn, a fix for a worn one or a turf area, and we set a visit that fits your day.
We walk the property, measure each area, check sun, shade, soil and drainage and take photos of anything of note.
We explain your options for sod, turf or both, and give you a written scope with quantities, timing and clear pricing.
We mark utilities, remove old turf, set the grade, loosen and improve the soil and build the base before anything new goes down.
We lay sod in tight, staggered rows or install turf over a compacted stone base, with clean edges and tight seams.
We clean up, roll or brush the surface, walk you through the watering and care plan and set a reminder for your next check.
It depends. Many associations allow it in back yards, and fewer in front. We help you check your covenants.
We prepare the sketch, samples and description and help you complete the submission.
It varies from days to weeks depending on the committee. We plan the schedule around it.
We can suggest changes, such as different materials or placement, and resubmit.
Often only for changes in design or grass type. Check your covenants, and we can help.
